A straightforward way to get laundry done without letting it turn into an all-day chore.

    Decide what actually needs washing
    Quickly check which clothes truly need to be washed now, instead of trying to clear everything at once.

    Sort just enough
    Separate clothes only as much as necessary, such as light and dark, without overthinking special cases.

    Start the machine
    Put the clothes in, add detergent, choose a reasonable setting, and start the wash without second-guessing it.

    Do something else while waiting
    Leave the laundry alone and use the time for something small instead of hovering or multitasking poorly.

    Move clothes to dry
    Hang or dry the clothes as soon as the wash finishes so it doesn’t become another postponed task.
