Toys and surfaces in the children's area are scattered; several toys are sticky or visibly soiled; washable and wipe-only items are mixed together and a few toys have loose or missing parts.
A high volume of small pieces and mixed-material toys makes rapid sorting and selecting the correct cleaning method difficult. Some toys lack cleaning labels and damaged parts can hide inside fabric or under cushions.
All toys are sorted into washable, wipeable, and broken piles; washable toys are cleaned and dried, wipe-only toys are sanitized, damaged items are bagged for repair or disposal, and shelves are restocked in their labeled spots.
