• Stamp pad ink (matching color) — 1 bottle
• Disposable gloves — 1 pair
• Paper towels — 3 sheets

Prepare workspace and retrieve supplies

Put on gloves, lay a paper towel under the stamp pad, and bring the matching ink bottle to the desk.

Inspect pad and perform a test impression

Open the pad and press the stamp on scrap paper three times to confirm faint areas and document whether impressions are incomplete or patchy.

Refill pad with measured drops

Lift pad cover and add 3–5 small drops of ink across the driest areas, spacing drops evenly and avoiding puddles; wait 30 seconds and gently press the pad surface once to distribute.

Retest and add small top-ups as needed

Stamp on scrap paper and compare impression to a clear reference; if faint areas remain, add one drop to those spots and retest until impressions match the reference.

Clean up and store supplies

Wipe any spilled ink with paper towel, replace pad cover, return ink and gloves to storage, and note refill in the circulation log.
