    Set up ladder and PPE
    Put on work gloves, position ladder on level ground within 1.5 meters of the sign, stabilize base and place bucket and cloths within arm's reach before climbing.

    Inspect signage and lamp fittings
    Scan sign faces from the ground for stains and damage, climb ladder and inspect each lamp socket, lens seal, and mounting for corrosion, loose screws, or burned bulbs and note any replacements needed.

    Clean sign faces and lenses
    Remove loose debris with a dry microfiber, dampen a cloth with cleaning solution and wipe sign surfaces and lenses in consistent horizontal strokes until no visible grime remains, then dry with paper towels to remove streaks.

    Test and secure lamps
    Tighten lamp fittings and lens covers as needed, replace any burned bulbs if available, restore power and verify each lamp emits steady light from its mounted position, then lower ladder and stow equipment.
