    Clear rack and inspect copies
    Remove all newspapers from the rack, set aside wet or severely torn copies for disposal, and count the remaining bundles.

    Sort by edition and front-face copies
    Group bundles by date/edition, align spines to the same depth, and flip copies so each front page faces outward.

    Flatten pages under board
    For each bundle: fan pages, smooth with your hand, then stack under the flat board and leave for 120 seconds per bundle to reduce creases.

    Restock rack and secure bundles
    Place bundles into the rack in order with front pages visible, secure any loose stacks with a rubber band, and leave a visible count label on the rack.
