Featured shelf book rotation

Refresh the featured shelf to surface different titles and remove worn copies; do this when the current display has been up for two weeks or more.

⏱ 30 min ★ Easy
Target

The featured shelf currently displays the same set of face-out books for multiple weeks, including some worn or out-of-season titles and an outdated shelf label.

Obstacle

Choosing suitable replacement titles from backstock takes time because shelves are deep and inventory locations aren't immediately obvious, and dust or misaligned covers add small delays.

Expectation

After the routine the featured shelf presents a new selection of face-out covers in good condition, updated signage, and a logged record of replaced titles.
