One or more book drop liners are torn, sagging, or missing and the drop-box log lacks a recent replacement entry for those locations.
Liners can be tucked into the frame or look superficially intact despite small tears, which makes removal and inspection awkward; additionally, log entries are sometimes incomplete or stored in multiple places which slows accurate updates.
Every book drop has an intact, properly secured liner and the log lists each location with condition before replacement, replacement date, and staff initials.
