Target

The printed poster is unlaminated with exposed edges and you have not chosen or prepared a removable mounting method or measured the wall placement.

Obstacle

Laminating can trap air bubbles or misalign the print inside the pouch, and removable adhesives can fail on textured paint or be difficult to align precisely during hanging.

Expectation

The poster will be laminated with smooth sealed edges and mounted flat on the wall using removable adhesive strips so it is level, bubble-free, and removable without paint damage.

  • • Removable adhesive strips (e.g., Command Poster Strips) — 4 pairs

  • • Paper trimmer or scissors — 1
  • • Squeegee or rigid card — 1
  • • Tape measure and small bubble level — 1
  • • Lint-free cloth — 1
Steps

    Prepare poster and laminator
    Measure the poster and choose a correctly sized pouch, wipe the poster and laminator entry with a lint-free cloth, and preheat the laminator until the ready indicator lights.

    Laminate the poster
    Center the poster inside the pouch, feed it straight and slowly into the laminator following manufacturer guidance, then let the laminated poster cool flat for at least 3 minutes.

    Trim and smooth edges
    Trim a 3–5 mm margin from the pouch edges with a trimmer or scissors, round the corners if desired, and run a squeegee along seams to press out small bubbles.

    Plan placement and apply mounting strips
    Measure and mark two alignment points at the intended top line with low-contrast pencil or painter's tape, attach the recommended number of removable strips to the poster back at corners and midpoints per package instructions.

  5. 05
    Mount poster and finalize
    Align the poster to the wall marks, press each adhesive strip firmly to the wall for the required time, check and correct level, then press along the poster face to secure and smooth any remaining bubbles.
