What's inside
Install and align a privacy filter on a public-facing PC to reduce shoulder-surfing risk. Use when deploying or replacing a monitor in a shared or public area.
The public-facing monitor lacks a privacy filter and the full screen is readable to nearby passersby.
Uneven bezel edges and limited clearance behind the screen make placing adhesive tabs flush difficult, causing the filter to sit misaligned or tilt. Fingerprints and dust on the glass and adhesive surfaces reduce clarity and adhesion.
The privacy filter is mounted centered and flush to the monitor and limits readable viewing to approximately a 30-degree cone directly in front of the screen.
