Touchscreen kiosk calibration and responsiveness check

Routine to verify and correct touchscreen alignment and responsiveness on public kiosks before opening or after maintenance. Run when users report mis-touches, drift, or visible screen contamination.

⏱ 22 min ★ Medium
Target

Kiosk touch input is misaligned or intermittently unresponsive and users report taps landing in the wrong location.

Obstacle

Screen surface has fingerprint and dirt buildup that can alter touch behavior, and the calibration offset causes taps to map to incorrect coordinates; diagnostic controls and logs require a prepared USB tool to run deeper tests.

Expectation

Touch input registers within 1-2 mm accuracy across the display with no dead zones and visible response delay under 100 ms.
