E-reader lending device factory reset and reload check

Reset a library lending e-reader and confirm its enrollment and loaned content are restored; run this when returning a device to service or preparing it for a new patron.

⏱ 30 min★ Medium
Target

Device is in an unknown configuration and may contain patron loans, local files, or outdated enrollment and is not ready to be lent.

Obstacle

Factory reset can leave firmware or enrollment mismatches; network enrollment may fail because of incorrect credentials or captive portals; content sync can stall or only partially restore DRM-protected titles.

Expectation

Device is factory-reset, enrolled in the library management account, approved catalogs and loanable content are reloaded, and basic borrowing and reading functions open without errors.
