It's easy to default to random snapshots instead of matching prompts, and juggling navigation and camera controls makes you skip or miss opportunities.
After the walk you'll have a selection of 8–10 photos that match your prompts and document the route.

- 01Plan route and promptsChoose a loop about 1–1.5 miles that takes ~30 minutes and list 10 concrete visual prompts (e.g., 'red door', 'long shadow', 'patterned fence').⏱ 5 min
- 02Prepare your deviceEnsure phone battery ≥50%, clear at least 100 MB of storage, open the camera app and set preferred aspect ratio and focus mode.⏱ 3 min
- 03Walk first half and photograph 5 promptsWalk the first 15 minutes of the route and stop briefly to frame and capture one clear photo for each of five chosen prompts.⏱ 10 min
