About Fecit
Fecit comes from a Latin word meaning “It is done!” We pronounce it “peh-chit.”
To be honest, both the meaning and the pronunciation are slightly different from the original — please think of it as a small compromise made for trademark reasons, and kindly forgive us for it.
A Simple Goal
The goal of Fecit is simple: to help people achieve what they truly want, a little more easily.
We have only just taken our very first step. Truly, just one step. It will take at least three steps before you can genuinely feel that Fecit is serious about its promise. So yes — there are two steps left to go.
Why We Built It
If you’ve noticed that I’m rambling a bit, you’re absolutely right. I’m doing this partly to fill the page. I happen to have a certain talent for talking nonsense.
That said, my interest in both my own achievements and those of others is not a lie. Achievement exists on an extension of recognition, and I am someone with a very strong desire to be recognized.
Looking back, the happiest moments of my life may have been when someone else experienced the joy of achievement because of me.
That realization led me to become a supporter — and ultimately, to build a tool for supporters. Fecit is, in a very selfish sense, a tool I created for my own happiness.
