Getting Started
Your first 10 minutes with Fecit — from creating your first task to building a workflow.
Create your first task
Tap the + button at the bottom of the Tasks tab. Type a title — that's all you need to get started. Fecit follows the minimal to maximal principle: start simple, add detail only when you need it.
Templates vs Records
Fecit separates templates and records. A template is a reusable blueprint — "Study English", "Morning Run". A record is a specific instance — "Study English on March 29".
When you create a task, Fecit creates both a template and today's record. Tomorrow, you can renew the template to create a new record without retyping everything.
Expand with sections
Tap the section settings icon to reveal additional sections:
- Details — Set start/end dates, duration, and location.
- Analysis — Break down your goal using the Current / Expectation / Obstacle framework.
- Preparation — List materials, tools, venues, personnel, and qualifications you need.
- Review — After completing a task, rate your satisfaction and write a short reflection.
- Attachments — Add web links, labels, and photos.
You don't need to use all of them. Toggle on only the sections that matter for each task.
Track your progress
Each task moves through states: Registered → Started → Completed. Update the state as you work. Your calendar, heatmap, and streak counter will track your momentum automatically.
Build your routine
Once you have a few templates, your daily workflow becomes:
- Renew yesterday's unfinished tasks
- Add new tasks for today
- Work through them, updating states
- Review completed tasks at the end of the day
That's it. Start small, build momentum, and let the system grow with you.
