Porch Sunset Sketch
Capture the composition and main values of a sunset from your porch during peak color and contrast in a single focused session. Do this when the light is vivid but before it fades below your ability to see contrast.
⏱ 30分★ 普通
現在
A blank page in the sketchbook and the sunset visible from the porch, but no composition, values, or notes recorded yet.
難関
The sunset light shifts quickly, reducing the time to observe stable values; occasional porch distractions (wind, people, insects) interrupt attention and make long, precise rendering impractical.
希望
A single-page monochrome sketch with the horizon and main shapes blocked in, primary light and dark values established, and brief color/lighting notes for later work.

- 03Establish main valuesIdentify the darkest and lightest areas and fill in primary shadows and midtones with graded pencil marks, aiming to capture the sunset's value pattern rather than detail⏱ 10分
- 04Refine edges and add notesTidy the most important edges, lift a few highlights with the kneaded eraser, add brief written notes about dominant colors and directional light for later work, and sign the page⏱ 5分
