• Smooth pocket stone — 1 piece
• Acrylic paint — 3 small tubes
• Clear acrylic spray sealer — 1 can

• Small round paintbrush (size 0–2) — 1
• Fine-tip acrylic paint pen (0.5–1.0 mm) — 1
• Disposable palette or ceramic tile — 1

Prepare stone and workspace
Wash and dry the stone, place a paper towel under your work area, arrange paints and tools within reach, and test the pen/brush on a scrap surface.

Apply base coat
Use the small round brush to paint a thin, even base coat on the stone face so letters will show; smooth out brush marks and let the base set to the touch for about 10 minutes.

Sketch the word or symbol
Lightly pencil or use the fine-tip paint pen to mark the placement of your chosen word or simple symbol, keeping letters roughly 6–8 mm tall for legibility.

Paint letters and accents
Trace and fill the letters with the paint pen or a steady brush, add a small accent if desired, and use a damp brush on a paper towel to remove stray paint and refine edges.

Seal and set aside to dry
Apply one light coat of clear acrylic sealer from 20–30 cm away, let the sealer become touch-dry for about 5 minutes, then set the stone aside to finish curing.
