Playlists contain outdated slides and videos and the schedule still follows the previous rotation with incorrect time-of-day targeting.

Incoming assets arrive in mixed formats and filenames that don't match CMS requirements, causing upload errors; schedules must be adjusted per location which requires multiple manual assignments.

Expectation

Active playlists show the updated, correctly formatted assets and the schedule reflects the new rotation and location-specific time slots.

Steps
  1. 01
    Audit active playlists
    Open the CMS, list active playlists and mark items older than the campaign start date or labeled 'archived', and create a checklist of files to replace.

    Prepare and validate assets
    Collect approved images/videos from the shared folder, convert to required resolutions/formats, rename files to CMS naming convention, and confirm each file is under the size limit.

    Upload and replace content
    Upload validated files to the CMS, replace outdated items in each playlist, add required metadata/tags, and verify no upload errors remain.

    Update schedule and verify playback
    Adjust time slots and location targeting for each updated playlist, push schedule changes, and verify playback on one representative display for two minutes.
