Define theme and constraints
Write a one-sentence theme statement, set the target list length (4–6), pick the intended reader or audience, and decide which formats to include (paper, ebook, audiobook).

Gather candidate titles
Spend a focused search period to list 12–15 candidate titles from memory, your library, trusted lists, and one quick web lookup, recording title + author for each.

Score and shortlist
Assign each candidate a score for relevance to theme, accessibility (availability/length), and perspective diversity, then select the top 4–6 highest-scoring titles.

Write notes and set order
For each selected title write one clear sentence explaining why it fits the theme and place the titles in a recommended reading sequence (e.g., introductory to advanced).
