Target

You have sheets of paper but no folded airplane that you can test.

Obstacle

Uneven folds can make the wings sit at different angles, and a strong or angled throw can hide whether the design needs adjusting.

Expectation

You have at least two folded airplanes and one flies forward without immediately diving or veering sharply.

Prepare the paper
Place one sheet flat with its long edges vertical and smooth out any creases.

Fold the airplane
Fold the sheet lengthwise, unfold it, then bring the top corners to the center crease and fold the new edges toward the center once more.

Shape the wings
Fold the plane in half along the center crease and fold each side down to make matching wings, checking that their edges line up.

Test and adjust
Throw the plane gently from shoulder height in an open space, note whether it dives or turns, and make small wing adjustments before testing again.
