Create a compact fresh-flower arrangement to brighten a small table or desk when you have a handful of stems. Use this routine when you want a quick, attractive centerpiece from mixed flowers and greenery.
A loose pile of mixed flower stems and some greenery sit next to an empty small vase with leaves and thorns still on many stems.
Stems vary in length and the vase opening is narrow, making it hard to get even height and spacing without crowding. Lower leaves and thorns risk contaminating the water and shortening bloom life.
Flowers are placed in the vase with an intentionally balanced shape, no leaves below the waterline, and water topped to just below the rim.

- 01Prepare vase and workspaceRinse the vase, remove labels, set it on the towel, and fill with water to about 1 cm below the rim; place flowers and tools within reach.⏱ 3분
