단계
  1. 01
    Prepare and check paper
Place one square sheet color-side down, confirm edges are square and corners sharp, then smooth the sheet on a flat surface.
    ⏱ 2분
  2. 02
Make basic diagonal and horizontal folds
Fold the paper in half diagonally both ways and then in half horizontally, creasing each fold sharply by running a fingernail along the seam and unfolding after each crease.
    ⏱ 3분
  3. 03
    Form the bird (preliminary) base
Collapse the paper along the creases into the preliminary (square) base by bringing two opposite corners together, aligning layers, and flattening into a smaller square with open flaps at the bottom.
    ⏱ 3분
  4. 04
    Shape the body and wings
Fold the top layers into kite shapes on both sides, crease well, then perform two inside reverse folds to form the neck and tail, keeping margins aligned and creases sharp.
    ⏱ 3분
  5. 05
    Form head and finish wings
Make a small inside reverse fold at the tip of the neck to create the head, pull wings down gently to open the body, adjust creases so the crane sits flat and wings are symmetrical.
