A quick method to fold a single fitted sheet into a compact rectangle for neat shelf or drawer storage. Use when a freshly laundered fitted sheet comes out of the dryer or pile and needs to be stored neatly.
The fitted sheet is balled up or twisted with elastic edges flipped and the corners tangled on the laundry pile.
The elastic corners flip and slip out of alignment, making it hard to pair and stack corners so the sheet lies flat.
The fitted sheet is flattened with all four corners nested and folded into a neat compact rectangle ready to stack or shelve.
- 01Nest two adjacent cornersLay the sheet on a flat surface, reach into two adjacent corners, and invert one corner over the other so the fabrics nest and the elastic edges align.⏱ 1분
- 02Add the opposite cornersSlide your hands along the elastic edges to the remaining two corners, tuck each of those corners into the nested pair so all four corners are stacked and aligned.⏱ 2분
