Measure and cut cord
Measure 1.5 m of cord, cut it, fold it in half and tie an overhand knot 2 cm from the folded end to create a loop for the wrist.

Arrange pattern and anchor loop
Lay out beads in your chosen order on the table, place the loop against the table edge and tape it down so the cord is anchored and won't slip.

String the beads
Slide beads onto the cord following your pattern until the beaded section measures about 16 cm from the knot, checking length against a ruler as you go.

Secure knots and trim
Tie two tight square knots at the end of the beads, pull tails to 1 cm, trim excess with scissors, add a drop of clear nail polish or glue to the knots and let dry; test the loop closure.
