Minimal to Maximal

Fecit grows with you. Start with just a title, and expand as your task demands it.

Not every task needs the same level of detail. A quick errand needs just a title. A complex project needs subtasks, deadlines, and reviews. Fecit lets you decide how deep to go — every time, for every task.

1

Minimal — Just a title

Tap +, type a title, go back. Done.

The task is saved with the Registered state. No extra fields, no friction. Perfect for quick thoughts and simple to-dos.

Example: "Buy groceries", "Reply to email", "Call dentist"
2

Add context — Description

Need to remember specific details? Add a description below the title. Write notes, checklists, or any context that helps you execute later.

Example: "Prepare presentation" + description with key points to cover
3

Structure it — Details

Open the Details section to add structure:

Start / due date
when to begin and finish
Estimated time
how long it should take
Difficulty
rate the effort
Location
attach an address
Project
group related tasks

All optional. Use only what you need.

4

Set direction — Intention

Open the Intention section to clarify your purpose:

Target
what you want to achieve with this task
Expectation
the outcome you expect when it's done

Writing your intention before starting helps you stay focused on what matters.

Example: "Design landing page" → Target: "Communicate the product value clearly" → Expectation: "Visitors understand what Fecit does in 10 seconds"
5

Break it down — Subtasks

Complex tasks can be broken into subtasks. Each subtask has its own state, so you can track progress step by step.

Connect subtasks to define the execution flow and see the big picture.

6

Look back — Review

After completing a task, open the Review section to write a retrospective. Reflect on what went well and what you'd do differently.

This turns every task into a learning opportunity.

Your task, your depth

Minimal Title only
+ Description
+ Details (dates, time, difficulty, location, project)
+ Intention (target, expectation)
+ Subtasks
Maximal + Review (retrospective)

Every level is optional. Use what makes sense for each task.
